This weekend both Snowman and I will be in Hollister and Chop "volunteered"
to run the meeting.  Thank you Chop.  Here's some of the subjects that will
be covered:

ABATE MEMBERSHIP RAFFLE TICKETS.  Somehow the packet of raffle tickets for
the membership drive got misplaced before any were sold.  Have no clue where
they are.  But I'd like to propose that Local 6 purchase $100 worth (we'll
get the money to Carol at the State Office) as our contribution to the
cause.  If we win, the $250 belongs to the Local.  This will need a vote at
the meeting.  Thanks for considering this proposal.

 

Some up-coming events to consider:

*         Local 11 Meeting - July 14 - Escondido American Legion Hall, Post
149, 230 East Park Avenue, Escondido, 11:00 a.m. 

*         Helmet Protest - July 14 

*         ABATE Board of Directors Meeting - July 20 - Cypress, CA - 9:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Don't forget the Final Option continues to have a breakfast at Sweetwater
Harley just before our meeting each month.  Howie has invited everyone down
to have breakfast first and then ride up to Kate Sessions for our meeting.
I hear it's really good . give them a try.
