Please come out to Kate Sessions Park on Sunday for the meeting.  As you
might have noticed, the March meeting got rained out and we hadn't really
set a new "rain location" since the Hungry Stick abruptly closed.  We've
only been rained out about five times in almost 30 years so it was a bit of
a surprise.  We'll figure out a new location and hope we don't have to use
it.

 

There has been a lot of legislative activity this past month concerning your
right to ride.  Come out and hear what's happening and also what you can do
to help.

ABATE ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS.  We have the paperwork available now for the
ABATE Associate Memberships.  We have 10 we can use for the Local and we've
had a couple of requests.  Please let us know if you have anyone in mind to
use the Memberships.

 

RUNS AND EVENTS

 

*         Local 11 Meeting - April 12 -- Escondido Moose Lodge, 25721
Jesmond Dene Road, Escondido 92026 -- 11:00 a.m. Oh, and they have chairs!  

*         Yuma Prison Run - April 17-19 - Yuma.  

*         ABATE Regional Rally - May 8-12, 2015 - Shady Oasis Kampground,
16530 Stoddard Wells Road, Victorville, CA 92395.  See details at

support ABATE!

*         NCOM's 30th Anniversary Convention - May 7-10, 2015 - Denver
Marriott Tech Center.  Flyer attached.  

 

If you missed the ABATE Shrimp Dinner on March 21 at the American Legion in
Clairemont, you missed a delicious meal, the opportunity to socialize, and
also dance, dance, dance.  Thank you Moe and Snowman for doing most of the
work...excellent!

Don't forget the Final Option continues to have a breakfast at Sweetwater
Harley just before our meeting each month.  Howie has invited everyone down
to have breakfast first and then ride up to Kate Sessions for our meeting.
