Just a little FYI . the ABATE Associate Membership form that was attached to
the Meeting Notice is a SAMPLE ONLY.should have mentioned that fact.  The
state office will have a new one available soon.  But do think of folks who

ABATE ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS.  At the Unification Rally in Sacramento last
year, ABATE offered one-year Associate Memberships for that day only.  The
purpose was to introduce ABATE without any obligation.  The Board of
Directors is now extending that offer to all Locals.  We have 10 memberships
that we can give to prospective members. The person receives an Associate
Membership Card and will be emailed the monthly Bailing Wire.  They do not
receive a membership number or patch, and are not eligible to hold office or
vote. An Associate Member can convert to a full membership at any time by
paying dues.  Let us know please if you have anyone you think is a good
candidate to received a complimentary Associate Membership.

 

RUNS AND EVENTS

 

ABATE OF CALIFORNIA - BOARD MEETING - January 10, 2015 - American Legion,
5656 Corporate Avenue, Cypress.  Information is attached.  Hope a few
members can attend.

 

LEGISLATIVE HOLIDAY PARTY - Senator Anderson - Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
Would like to thank Don Petrick for attending this event to represent ABATE
of California.

 

VETERANS HOLIDAY HOSPITAL VISIT - Sunday, December 14, 2014.  There was a
fantastic turnout for this event his year.  We all visited with the vets and
distributed items that they could use or enjoy. 

 

CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS - Thursday, December 25, 2014.  Over 250 bikes plus a ton
of toys were handed out Christmas morning in National City.

Don't forget the Final Option continues to have a breakfast at Sweetwater
Harley just before our meeting each month.  Howie has invited everyone down
to have breakfast first and then ride up to Kate Sessions for our meeting.
