This time Snowman will be in town but I won't.  Thanks Chop for handling the
September meeting for us.  Please come join the group to hear and talk about
what's happening.

AB-1932 - Obernolte - Alternative to Traffic School.  Was signed by the
Governor this past week and will go into effect January 1, 2017.  

 

AB-51.  LANE SPLITTING LEGISLATION was signed by the governor last month!
It is now a law and the new guidelines will be determined by the CHP, DMV
and a representative from a motorcycle rights organization (to yet be
determined).  We are still hopeful that ABATE will be that representative.

 

RUNS AND EVENTS.  Be sure to check the Bailing Wire for ABATE events.
Here's a few to put on your calendar:

*         ABATE Local 11 Meeting - October 9 - Escondido Moose Lodge, 25721
Jesmond Dene Road, Escondido - 11 a.m.  They have seats and you can come
early and have breakfast, too.  Oh, and the breakfast is really good and
really inexpensive!

*         San Diego's Wounded Vet Run  - October 22 - Biggs HD - 9 a.m.

 

Least you forget, the Final Option has a breakfast at Sweetwater Harley just
before our meeting this month.  Howie invites everyone down to have
breakfast first and then ride up to Kate Sessions for our meeting.
