ABATE PAC made a donation of $250. to Assemblywoman Toni Atkins.  She is the Assembly Majority Whip,  and is on our side.  The Local 6 PAC REP Douglas Findlay was at the fundraiser,  and he said that it was great to hear Toni tell everyone at the fundraiser how happy she is to oppose the mandatory helmet law.
She said that it was because of our previous support for her friend Denise Ducheny, as well as our hard work for Toni on the campaign trail last year. 
 
Moral of the story : If not for our campaign work, she would have no reason to support repeal.
