One of my club sisters forwarded this article to me.  We discussed this at
the ABATE Meeting last Sunday.  It's worth reading.

I've attached the Quick Guide - Lane Splitting Guidelines as well as the
full version "Lane Splitting General Guidelines" that are mentioned in the
article.  According to Jim Lombardo, our ABATE Lobbyist, someone plans to
introduce legislation around February 28 to make lane-splitting against the
law.  As it stands now, it is not illegal because there is no law
prohibiting it.  There is nothing that states two vehicles cannot be in the
same lane.

 

Stay tuned.if a bill is introduced, we will need your help writing letters,
etc. when we have more details.
